| Toltecs Earn Clutch Win, 4-3 | The Leon Toltecs, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Toltecs Field.
The Leon Toltecs faced a tenacious opponent in Mexico City pitcher Gabe Carrera, but still scratched out a win at Toltecs Field by a final score of 4-3 in 10 innings. Carrera went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. Leon reliever Al Reyes was the winner. His record is now 5-2. The losing pitcher was Nick Weaver.
The decisive blow was delivered by Justin Bouma in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Nick Weaver to win the game for Leon. The home crowd went nuts.
Bouma described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
Leon now sports a record of 10-14.
