| Rangers Sunk by Queens | Denver Queens starter Brad Foran was in midseason form, as he helped his team beat the Houston Rangers, 7-0. Brad Foran picked up the win in relief. Walt Samuels took the loss for Houston. With the win, the Queens are 10-25.
Johnny Rocha had a big 2-run home run for the Queens in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Denver leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Walt Samuels and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Queens ahead, 3-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Denver manager David Fields.
