| Peaches Suffer 4-2 Home Defeat | The exploits of left fielder David Spence, who finished 2nd in the UL in RBI with 88 in 2037, helped the Leon Toltecs defeat the Atlanta Peaches, 4-2. Spence was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Atlanta has now lost 4 in a row.
Spence contributed in the top of the fourth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Leon get the win.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Leon manager David Fields.
