Racine Pops Two Homers in 11-7 Win for Houston
The Houston Rangers welcomed the Seattle Pilots to an night game at Pilots Park.

Jim Racine, who is tied for 6th in the UL with a .396 on-base percentage, knocked in 6 runs to help the Houston Rangers win, 11-7, over the Seattle Pilots. Now 16-24, Seattle has dropped 11 straight.

Houston used the timely hitting of Jason Tally to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rangers on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Tally said. "We did a good job of that today."
