| Toltecs Get One-Run Win at Phoenix | The Leon Toltecs took Phoenix pitcher Gilbert Babin's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Firebirds Ballpark. The final score had Leon getting past the Firebirds, 3-2. Babin went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 10. Al Reyes saved it for Leon. The Toltecs sport a record of 15-27.
Jayden Ash, who finished 2nd in the UL in stolen bases with 43 in 2039, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ash contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Leon up, 3-1.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Ash.
