Servais Lifts Mammoths to 9-1 Triumph
The Montreal Mammoths powered past the Detroit Vipers, 9-1, at Mammoths Field. Will Servais went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Montreal's record now stands at 59-50, placing them second in the Independent North Division.

With Montreal leading 5-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Servais batted against Detroit pitcher Dan Throop. Servais hit a curveball to left for a grand slam home run. His 10th home run of the season put the Mammoths on top, 9-1.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Montreal manager David Fields.
