Luchadors Suffer One-Run Loss at Oklahoma City
Wranglers Ballpark was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Oklahoma City Twisters and San Diego Luchadors.

The Oklahoma City Twisters turned back the San Diego Luchadors, 5-4, at Wranglers Ballpark. Leo Rodriguez, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Cesar Gomez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Rafael Alejandres took the loss.

Carlos Acencio drew 2 walks for Oklahoma City. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Rafael Alejandres. It was his 15th walk of the season.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager David Fields.

The last-place Luchadors have lost 4 straight games.
