| Jets Earn 4-1 Home Win | Dallas Jets pitcher Lance Daniello was in top form, leading his team past the Leon Toltecs, 4-1. Daniello, the winner, moves to 4-3. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 4 walks. The second-place Jets lifted their record to 19-24.
Cam Lomond had a big run-scoring double for the Jets in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Dallas leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Angelo Pulido, who is tied for 5th in the UL in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to left. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jets ahead, 2-0.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Lomond.
