The Houston Rangers defeated the San Diego Luchadors, 7-4, in 10 innings in United action at Luchadors Field. Houston pitcher Hector Garcia had a standout performance. The losing streak for San Diego has now reached 9 games.

It could have been a different outcome for Houston, had it not been for Luke Bychyk, the 27-year old shortstop . Bychyk contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Houston up, 5-4.

"I told my wife I'm not changing my underwear again until we win," said losing manager David Fields. "I haven't seen her since last Tuesday."
