7-4 Loss Extends Houston Skid
The Leon Toltecs defeated the Houston Rangers, 7-4, at Toltecs Field. Leon left fielder David Spence had a superb performance. He was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Al Reyes earned the save for Leon, his 10th. Houston is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 10 games.

Spence had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch sinker from Jesus Arenas, he banged a grand slam home run to center, giving the Toltecs a 6-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Spence.

Houston manager David Fields, after yet another defeat, said: "We don't want to panic. At the same time, we need to stop the bleeding."
