| Brian Kelly Hits #500 | The crowd roared -- they knew they were seeing history -- and Brian Kelly was delighted, too. The 38-year-old Pilots left fielder was making history with his 500th career homer. The crowd buzzed and roared again when Kelly stuck his head out of the dugout for a curtain call.
"Never, as a kid, did I ever think I'd hit even one," he told BNN after hitting No. 500 in a 1-0 victory over Atlanta. Kelly went 1-for-3 in the game, had 1 RBI, and scored 1 run.
