Marauders Walk It Off for 33rd Win of Season
The Mexico City Marauders overcame a good performance by Leon left fielder David Spence to knock off Leon, 7-6, at Marauders Field. Spence went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Mexico City pitcher Tom MacNevin earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Carlos Meza suffered the loss. The triumph puts Mexico City at 33-22 for the season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Dave Ingram in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Carlos Meza to win the game for Mexico City. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Ingram.
