The Mexico City Marauders converted a terrific effort from starter Santiago Negrete into a win over the Leon Toltecs at Marauders Field. The Marauders won the game by a final score of 3-1. The win puts Mexico City at 34-22 this season.

Mexico City starter Santiago Negrete pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-2 left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager David Fields.
