| Chris Carrell Tames Montreal, 4-0, for #150 Wednesday, April 19th , 2045 Chicago's Chris Carrell took the hill at Hawks Park today in search of his 150th career win. The 39-year-old ace found it against the Montreal Mammoths.
After the historic victory, his manager told reporters, "I saw a tremendous sigh of relief when this thing was over. He was just looking to hug everyone in sight."
He worked 7.1 innings with 6 strikeouts and no walks in the 4-0 victory, checking Montreal on 4 hits.
"It a big milestone in my career," admitted Carrell. "When you get close to it, you worry about it a lot. It's done now... and I can relax and enjoy it."
In his lifetime numbers Carrell has a 150-111 won-lost record with a 2.92 ERA.
