 | Alligators End Toro Streak Monday, April 21st , 2042 Frank Toro's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games, as the Tulsa College Bisons dropped their contest with the Columbus College Alligators, 9-8, at Alligators Grounds. Toro failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-1. After the game Toro spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In 43 games this season, Toro has compiled a .290 batting average with 45 hits and 6 home runs. He has also scored 25 times and knocked in 19 runs. |   |
