 | Best Pitcher Trophy Won by Night Riders Becerra Tuesday, June 7th , 2044 This past season Carlos Becerra put on quite a show in the Conference 2. In 11 starts he posted a 5-1 record for New York College to capture the 2044 Pitcher of the Year Award. In 11 starts and 63.2 innings, Becerra yielded 53 hits, holding the opposition to a .226 average. He chalked up 73 strikeouts and posted a 2.26 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Nick Perestrelo of the El Paso College Avengers finished second in voting, while Leonardo Orozco of the Columbus College Alligators finished third.
