 | Super Swinger -- Ramirez Slams 5 Hits Tuesday, March 21st , 2045 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Xavier Ramirez -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Badlanders Park and paced the 7-5 Badlanders win over the Hamilton College Clowns. After his dynamite batting performance, the Guadalupe College shortstop told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Xavier Ramirez doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and tripled in the 8th. Ramirez is batting .388 this year with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
