 | Hits Galore: Washabaugh Drills 5 Hits Wednesday, March 22nd , 2045 Indianapolis College second baseman David Washabaugh had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the El Paso College Avengers at Pump Jacks Stadium as the Pump Jacks picked up a win, 18-3. "He was patient up there," Indianapolis College skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Washabaugh has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." David Washabaugh singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit a three-run double in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Roland Atkins in the 6th and singled in the 8th. To date this season, Washabaugh is hitting .362 with 2 home runs. |   |
