| Henry Belts 3 HR for Alligators Sunday, April 23rd , 2045 Dan Henry went yard three times in a Columbus College Alligators victory over the Miami College Reds at Great American Ball Park.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the Columbus College left fielder went 4-for-5 against Miami College with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Alligators to the 8-2 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Dan Henry hit a solo-shot off Jason Patterson in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Josh Johnson in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Brian Williamson in the 9th.
Looking at his season stats, Henry has compiled a .364 batting average and a .421 on-base percentage, while hitting 20 home runs and driving in 52 runs. | | |
