 | Super Swinger -- Brito Slams 5 Hits Friday, March 25th , 2044 It seemed that Puebla College catcher Diego Brito could do no wrong as the Sluggers KO'd the Badlanders, 17-8. Brito rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Badlanders hurlers were throwing. "I think the Sluggers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Guadalupe College fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Brito in the postgame press interview. Diego Brito singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Alejandro Infante in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 8th, singled in the 9th and flied out in the 9th. So far this season, Brito has hit .392 with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 17 times. |   |
