 | SL2 Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Saturday, June 7th , 2042 He may only be 20, but Nick Smith of the Columbus College Alligators has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Conference 2. The reliever was today named the SL2 Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2042. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 15 saves in 19 relief appearances and 25 strikeouts in 17.1 innings. He had a record of 0-0 to go with his 0.52 ERA. He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 30. Felipe Sanchez of the Puebla College Sluggers finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Igor Barbier of the Delmas College Tasmanian Devils finished third.
