| Critical Game 5 Goes to Host Toltecs, 1-0 | In a pivotal Game 5, the Leon Toltecs were hoping for a big game from starter Kareem Brobbey. They got one.
The right-hander shut out the Arlington Arsenal, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 1-0 victory. The Toltecs took the 1-0 win over the Arlington Arsenal to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Arlington could barely put a dent in Brobbey. The right-hander tossed 95 pitches over 7.1 innings for the Toltecs, allowing only 3 hits.
"When I throw strikes I'm good, if I don't I'm not very good," said Brobbey. "So I just have to throw strikes."
Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday at Ballpark of Arlington in Arlington.
