Sean Ritchie, who finished 5th in the UL in OPS with .871 in 2037, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ritchie contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put San Diego up, 2-0.
"Things broke our way today and that's great," Luchadors manager David Fields said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."
Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Luchadors Field in San Diego.
