| Toltecs Win Divisional | The Leon Toltecs are bound for the Conference Championship.
A 5-3 win over the San Diego Luchadors at Luchadors Field ended the Divisional, 3-1.
"We're not trying to get ahead of ourselves, but it's hard not to get pumped up and excited and think about how this season could end," said Jayden Ash. "This could be the biggest celebration Leon has ever seen if we can win the World Series."
The state of the Federal Baseball League championship remains in doubt, but the Toltecs certainly appear to be strong contenders.
Ash was named MVP of the Divisional after he posted a .312 batting average, while adding 2 home runs, driving in 4 RBI and scoring 4 runs.
The Leon Toltecs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Dallas Jets - San Francisco Pioneers series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Conference Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional finishes. | | |  | |
