| Leon Win Evens Series at 3 | The Leon Toltecs and the San Francisco Pioneers will take the Conference Championship to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Toltecs beat the Pioneers, 5-3, at Pioneers Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Leon right-hander Josh Neal had a big role in the win. He threw 7.2 innings allowing 3 runs.
It could have been a different outcome for Leon, had it not been for Victor Ramos, the ten-time All-Star . Ramos contributed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Leon up, 2-0.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Neal.
Game 7 is scheduled for Wednesday at Toltecs Field. | | | | |
