That's exactly what Francisco Vazquez did at Alligators Grounds, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 13-9. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Vazquez said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Columbus College Alligators second baseman blistered the Guadalupe College Badlanders for 3 hits, batted in 9 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Guadalupe College manager said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Francisco Vazquez flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Billy Martinez in the 8th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Danny Carpio in the 9th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Danny Alcantar in the 10th. To date, Vazquez has collected 48 hits for a .361 average. He has posted 19 home runs, scored 39 runs and driven in 48 runs. |   |
