 | Columbus College Ace Takes Pitcher of the Year Award Monday, June 9th , 2042 The Conference 2 has heralded Mike Masters of the Columbus College Alligators as the #1 man on the mound for the 2042 campaign. This year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 5-1 record, holding opposing hitters to a .254 batting average and posting a 3.26 ERA. The 20-year-old hurler tossed 60.2 innings, gave up 61 hits, fanned 61 and issued 15 walks. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 30. Miguel Castillo of the Puebla College Sluggers finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Jim Burrows of the Indianapolis College Pump Jacks finished third with 7 first place votes.
